Director, Sales Operations

Job Description

The Director of Sales Operations (DSO) is responsible for leading the sales organization, monitoring the productivity and effectiveness of sales efforts, ensuring they are aligned with overall business objectives. Reporting to the VP, Corporate Development & Commercial Operations, the DSO is a key member of the company’s management team, facilitating sales pipeline development, driving revenue, generating sales forecasts, and making recommendations at strategic and tactical levels to deliver commercial performance.

Sales Account Manager

Job Description

iXCells Biotechnologies is an innovative cell biology and cell technology company that provides preclinical drug discovery solutions with a focus on disease relevant cellular models, enabling technologies and services to the global academic, biotech and pharma communities to accelerate the pace of drug discovery.

We are searching for an experienced Sales Account Manager (SAM) to join our commercial team. Reporting to the Business Development Director, the SAM has a fundamental understanding of primary and iPSC derived cell-based applications across life science market segments and workflows, such as (but not limited to) cell biology research, drug discovery and development, biomarker identification/validation, cell and immunotherapy, and related cell-based assays needed by clients to advance their research and commercialization efforts. The successful candidate is a resourceful, self-starter, who is passionate about engaging with customers to increase global sales of iXCells Biotech’s products and services.

Scientist / Senior Scientist (Immuno-Oncology)

Job Description

Due to business expansion, we are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our in vitro Pharmacology team. The candidate for this position will be responsible for the establishment of various assays as assigned, and performance of experiments to support in vitro screening and/or evaluation of drug targets or candidate drugs. The candidate with immune-oncology background is preferred.

Scientist (Stem Cell Group)

Job Description

The Scientist plays a role in the fast-paced and dynamic manufacture and R&D team. She/he is expected to lead established projects independently, prepare work proposals and status reports. She/he will also support the senior scientists to execute the projects in product development, CRO services and other R&D programs in the stem cell group.  The experiences in iPSC reprogramming and differentiation, and neuronal assays (electrophysiologic, images-based neurite outgrowth, etc.) are ideal. She/he is required to follow company SOPs, to write and update the SOPs, and provide training to Research Associates and Associate Scientists. The Scientist must pay close attention to details, be analytical, have good written and oral communication skills, work well in a team setting and work well under the supervision of the group lead.

Scientist/Senior Scientist (in Vitro Group)

Job Description

The Scientist / Senior Scientist will play a critical role in the fast-paced In Vitro Biology team. She/he is expected to contribute to assay development, CRO services, product development and internal R&D programs. She/he must demonstrate proficiency in relevant technical skills, as well as leadership to train and guide junior team members. The Scientist / Senior Scientist must have excellent written & oral communication skills. She/he must be able to work both independently and collaboratively with other departments.

Job Description

Due to business expansion, we are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual as an Inside Sales Associate (ISA) to join our business development team in CRO business unit. iXCells Biotechnologies is a San Diego based cell biology and cell technology company dedicated to providing innovative pre-clinical drug discovery solutions with the focus on disease-relevant cellular models, enabling technologies and services to the academic, biotech and pharma communities to accelerate the pace of drug discovery. The job involves lead qualification of inbound inquiries from both existing and new customers in order to provide solutions to their projects and business needs.

Research Associate (Primary Cell/Product)

Job Description

The Research Associate (Primary Cell / Product Group) plays a role in the fast-paced and dynamic manufacture and R&D team. She/he will support the lead scientists to execute the projects in product generation, CRO services and R&D programs in the Primary Cell / Product group, including primary cell isolation, and various assays using primary cells. The individual will interact with other internal and external departments for project development.

Research Associate (Stem Cell)

Job Description

The Research Associate (Stem Cell Group) plays a role in the fast-paced and dynamic manufacture and R&D team. She/he will support the lead scientists to execute the projects in product generation, CRO services and R&D programs in the Stem Cell group, including human iPSC/ESC culture, reprogramming, differentiation, and assay development using the iPSC derivatives.  Extensive hands-on experience in working with human iPSCs is required.  The individual will interact with other internal and external departments for project development.
