Human PBMCs
Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) is any blood cell with a single nucleus. These blood cells are a critical component in human immune system to fight pathogen. PBMCs consist of lymphocytes (T, B and NK cells), monocytes and dendritic cells. PBMCs are widely used in research fields including immunology, infectious diseases and hematological malignancies etc. For San Diego County end users, iXCells Biotechnologies offers same day delivery of fresh PBMCs. Freshly drawn human peripheral blood samples will be processed in the morning and isolated PBMCs will be delivered on ice in early afternoon. Overnight shipping is available for the rest of the Continental United States.

Human M1/M2 Macrophages
iXCells Biotechnologies offers both fresh and cryopreserved human monocytes derived M1/M2 macrophages. They were produced from negative immunogenic isolated human monocytes by M-CSF induced differentiation followed by polarization using IFNg and LPS for M1 macrophages, or IL-4 and IL-13 for M2 macrophages. >90% of the cells are CD80+ (M1) or CD163 (M2) as shown by flow cytometric analysis. The fresh M1/M2 macrophages can be directly delivered as customized seeded plates within 2 weeks. The cryopreserved cells can be thawed and seeded into the desired tissue culture vessel formats, which can be maintained as adherent, biologically functional cultures for weeks.
Mouse Bone Marrow Derived Macrophages and Dendritic Cells
iXCells Biotechnologies offers both fresh and cryopreserved mouse bone marrow derived macrophages (mBMDM). They were produced from mouse bone marrow cells collected from C57BL/6 or CF1 strain by mouse M-CSF differentiation and >90% of the cells were CD11b+ as shown by flow cytometric analysis. Fresh mBMDM can be directly delivered as customized plates within 2 weeks. The cryopreserved cells can be thawed and seeded into the desired tissue culture vessel format, which can be maintained as adherent, biologically functional cultures for weeks.


iXCells Biotechnologies also provide fresh mouse bone marrow derived dendritic cells (mBMDC) or mouse bone marrow derived dendritic cells/macrophages (mBMDC/M) by the differentiation induced by GM-CSF, with or without the further LPS maturation upon request. >90% of the cells were CD11c+ as shown by flow cytometry analysis. Fresh mBMDC or mBMDC/M can be directly delivered as customized plates within 2 weeks.
